My name is Amanda. I am a born-and-raised St. Louis hairstylist specializing in lived-in, natural-looking color.

As a working mom of two, I know time is a luxury, and I never take for granted the hours my clients give me in the chair. I've built my client experience around one goal: leaving you feeling uplifted, relaxed, and more confident than when you walked in.

I've been behind the chair for over a decade and a half, and I still can't believe I get to turn my passion into a paycheck every day. Getting to connect with clients who bring me joy — and make me better, personally and professionally — is the best part of the job.

As a specialist in low-maintenance color, nothing makes me happier than a client walking back in three months later with their color still looking beautiful. This is where my approach differs from a lot of salons: I don't build my books around 3-4 week touch-ups or full, root-to-root gray coverage that grows out fast. My techniques are designed to extend the time between visits, and I work with each client to build a maintenance rhythm of 8 weeks or more. If you're looking for a colorist who wants to see you every few weeks, I'm probably not your best fit — but if a longer, lower-maintenance rhythm sounds like a relief, we'll get along great.

When I'm not in the salon, I'm chasing my 7-year-old, Benjamin, and 4-year-old, Oliver, around the zoo, the Magic House, or wherever else St. Louis families end up. With the gift of grandparents in town, my husband and I are lucky enough to have date nights about once a month where we practice our true passion, eating our way through the city.
